WHAT WE DO

Every boat is different. Our management program is tailored to your vessel and its onboard systems.

Depending on your vessel and equipment, routine inspections may include:

⚙️ ENGINES • TRANSMISSIONS • GENERATORS

• Start and run engines and generator

• Check engine, transmission, generator and steering-fluid levels

• Check operating temperatures and oil pressure

• Monitor battery/charging voltage

• Record engine and generator hours

• Check steering and shifting operation

• Visually inspect the engine room for leaks or developing issues

• Run generator under load when appropriate

Vessel operation and underway system checks can also be arranged with one of our Captains for an additional charge.

• Check battery condition and voltage

• Check battery-charger output

• Check inverter operation

• Inspect shore-power connections

• Verify generator charging/power operation

• Look for obvious electrical or connection issues

💧 FRESHWATER • PUMPS • PLUMBING

• Operate freshwater pumps

• Check hot and cold water systems

• Test sinks and showers

• Inspect for visible leaks

• Check raw-water systems where applicable

• Test livewell and washdown pumps when equipped

🚨 BILGES • PUMPS • HIGH-WATER ALARMS

• Test bilge pumps

• Check automatic float switches

• Test high-water alarms where equipped

• Inspect bilge areas for unusual water, fluids or leaks

❄️ AIR CONDITIONING & HEATING

• Operate A/C systems

• Check cooling performance

• Inspect accessible through-hull fittings

• Check strainers and raw-water flow

• Look for leaks or abnormal operation

🧭 NAVIGATION & SAFETY EQUIPMENT

• Check navigation lights

• Power up navigation electronics

• Visually inspect life jackets and throwable devices

• Check flares and expiration dates

• Check fire extinguishers and applicable fire-suppression equipment

• Check CO detectors where equipped

🛥️ ADDITIONAL ONBOARD SYSTEMS

Depending on your vessel, we can also check:

• Refrigerators and freezers

• Ice makers

• Windlass and anchor systems

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE FIND A PROBLEM?

Our goal is to identify developing issues before they interfere with your next day on the water or become larger, more expensive problems.

If we discover a minor issue that can reasonably be addressed during the visit, we'll discuss the appropriate next step with you.

For repairs requiring a qualified marine technician, we will notify you and can coordinate service with an appropriate local marine professional.

You remain informed while Yacht Finders helps manage the process.

SIMPLE YACHT MANAGEMENT PRICING

MONTHLY MANAGEMENT

$8.50 PER FOOT / MONTH

BI-WEEKLY MANAGEMENT

Monthly rate + $125

Minimum monthly fee: $250 for vessels 30' and under.

Service area includes Tampa Bay, Sarasota Bay, the Intracoastal Waterway from St. Petersburg south to Siesta Key, and the Manatee River.

Additional services, vessel operation, repairs, parts and outside vendor services may be billed separately.
